Forgetting about all the unhappiness that happened to me yesterday during celebration when my phone was being confiscated for using my handphone to take pictures in their so-called restricted premises and I was like so freaking pissed and disappointed because my school, the school rules seems so so inflexible despite having negotiation sessions over the phone by my dad with the teacher who confiscated my phone, that teacher was too stubborn to actually let me be excused from having my handphone being retained by them until the following Monday. And of course, I'm angry with that teacher but then after some deep thinking, I straighten my thoughts and I think, there's no need to be angry or hold any grudges against her because it would be like wasting my precious, non-reversible, one and only lifetime of light years over that teacher which I though was unreasonable and ill-mannered. She's indeed a guttersnipe. When I talk to her, she don't even talk to me face to face and there seems to be a need for me to talk to her side of her face. She's really no manners man.. I thought, talking is the basic commercial ways of communication between each civilized person. And from the way she talks to me and the body language she exhibits in front of me, I can say that she lost her professionalism. So much about her but
ANYWAY, I won't hate her anymore. Because I have learnt a lot from this first experience of losing my handphone to the school rules. L
On a lighter note, I went for NDP 2006 @ National Stadium TODAY! Went there with my aunt. Actually I planned to go with my brother, but then he said that he decided that he's not going because he has got lots of work to do, test coming up blah blah blah.
Let me tell you guys who's reading this entry of mine now. Being at the national stadium was an incredible and enjoyable moment for me especially this year. Apart from those long distance we need to travel from the stadium to kallang MRT after the end of the parade, all the sweat that was squeezed out of us when we were under the blazing hot sun and back aching experience after long hours of sitting, it was after all a satisfying trip without any signs of regrets about coming all the way from bukit panjang to witness this grand and prestigious ceremony.
Firstly, my aunt and I were busy ransacking the goody bags that was given to us at the point we entered the stadium, to find out that it was the same.. flags, tibits, drinks and stuffs. Haha, but a little pleasant surprise given to us was the introduction of this lucky draw contest. We're suppose to clear the trash around us and put it in a trash bag with a sticker with some serial number on it. We're suppose to keep that serial number and find out the results of the lucky draw on 15 aug on the official NDP website. Well, being typical Singaporeans, the sure thing was, I didn't forgo the chance that could possibly let me win something nice for myself or people whom I think that they deserve most. :)
And the parade goes on and on with spectacular and exciting performances that was put up, giving us, the audience, surprises every now and then with the sudden projection of fireworks in the air.. my aunt and I were like on a look out for fireworks in the sky so as to capture those beautiful sparks that's in mid air which light up the dark sky of singapore. But we were all so affected by the effects of visual satisfaction that we were sometimes so engross with whatever we saw and forgotten about taking pictures of it. But well, I actually took a couple of pictures which I would upload later and also perhaps a video on fireworks. =)
And og 14 is finally having an outing at plaza sing tml after so long.. haha.. can't wait to catch up with my fellow og mates. Seriously speaking, I miss them a lot.. I hope they also miss me.. haha.. whatever..
My dear homeland, Singapore, you might be just a small continent or a small dot that's hardly noticeable on world map by geographers, but given this small space that I live in peacefully, you satisfied my big hunger for a total different kind of entertainment today. I'm a patriotic Singaporean, I sang my lungs out for you, Singapore, upon hearing the national anthem. You're my number ONE! It's really our global city, our home.
